Church has always been special to me. My Grandfather was a Pastor, my Grandmother was a Music Director and my Dad sang in church and was always very involved in the life of Beulah as I was growing up; my passion for church definitely comes from them. In addition, my Mom always made sure I was in church and that Jesus was the cornerstone of my life; she is my most faithful prayer warrior!

Family is my favorite thing, and church IS family. Having such a wonderful church family like Beulah to grow up in and be a part of has been such a blessing to me and my life.

The children of our After School Care program are very special to me. Growing up, I never saw working with children as my path in life until Jesus pushed me forward towards them, and just like that, they became one of my passions. What a blessing it is to work with children every day, and it’s such a bonus to get to teach them about Jesus!

When I’m not at church, you will find me with my family; my three children are my heart, and my husband is my best friend. Spending time with them, my mom, my extended family, and of course, our dogs Roscoe and Cletus is my favorite thing to do!

Church music has been a part of my life since I was young.  I have no idea what it sounded like, but at the age of 12 I began playing the piano for worship services, accompanying the choir, and have continued playing in congregational settings ever since.  Although I attended church services several times each week, I was more interested in the music than the message.

That attitude changed, however, when I attended (quite reluctantly) a weekend Sonship conference. It was there that I began to develop a deeper understanding of God’s grace and work in my life.  Jack Miller summed up the gospel this way: “Cheer up; you’re a lot worse off than you think you are, but in Jesus you’re far more loved than you could have ever imagined.”

The gift of music is one for which I am extremely thankful.  My prayer is that music at Beulah will minister to others in such a way that they, too, will gain a deeper understanding of God’s redemptive work in their lives.

Music is a powerful tool and serves many purposes, but there is no greater way to use music than to offer praise to our Savior, Redeemer, and King!

As a teenager I knew about God I just didn’t know who he was and what it meant to be a follower of Christ. I was bored with church. Being a pastor’s son, I was always there and it wasn’t any fun and it wasn’t where I wanted to be. It didn’t become fun or something I was even interested in until later in life, after many unnecessary wrong turns. My passion in my ministry is to help teenagers become followers of Christ sooner than I did so they don’t have to face the same trials and they can learn from my mistakes. I want them to experience church in a different way than I did. I want to instill in them an excitement for learning about Jesus and growing in their relationship with him.
