Children at Beulah

Beulah UMC creates opportunities for children to know and practice the love of Christ through learning Scripture, playful interaction, and participating in service projects.

Join us as we grow in the wonderful journey of Christian faith and service to one another! If you have any questions or would like to volunteer for any of the areas below, please contact us.

Each Sunday

Sunday School

Each Sunday at 9:30 am, all children are invited to Sunday School where they learn more about loving God and neighbor. Sunday School meets upstairs in the Family Life Center. We look forward to welcoming you!

Nursery

Each Sunday during the worship service, the nursery is available in the Family Life Center for children three years old and younger as well as siblings up to five years old. All nursery volunteers are trained and receive a background check to ensure a safe and loving environment. If you would like to volunteer, contact the church office at [email protected].

Each Month

Community Supper

Everyone is invited to Community Supper, a wonderful way to connect with others and enjoy a delicious meal. Community Supper happens one Wednesday a month during the school year at 5:30 pm.

Feeding Families – Serve Together

We are proud to join Harvest Hope Food Bank as a monthly distribution partner for food, supplies, and household necessities. Distribution occurs the morning of every third Saturday.

If you and your family would like to volunteer by helping with food packing and distribution, contact the church office at [email protected].

Throughout the Year

Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday, the Sunday before Easter, begins Holy Week with a celebration of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem. After the service, we enjoy a covered dish supper and an egg hunt. Adults bring your favorite dish, kids bring your Easter egg basket, and we enjoy great fellowship and fun!

Vacation Bible School

Each summer, Vacation Bible School (VBS) offers opportunities for children to learn the stories of God and how much God loves them.

Trunk or Treat

The Sunday before Halloween, all children are invited to Beulah UMC for a fun time of exploring decorated trunks and receiving candy. Wear your costumes, bring friends, and get ready for a great time!

Children’s Time Volunteers

During the worship service each Sunday, we offer a special time for children to learn about their important role in God’s great love story. If you would like to help lead children’s time, contact the church office at [email protected].

Caring for Children

Beulah UMC is committed to the physical, emotional, and spiritual safety of all of our children, youth, and vulnerable adults. We established a Safe Sanctuary policy to uphold this commitment. Each volunteer who serves with these groups receives regular training and background checks.
